Speaking

Over the last 12 years I've given many guest lectures and presentations on applying psychology and neuroscience to all aspects of business (marketing, sales, design, leadership etc.).

My professional speaking style is distinguished by the integration of knowledge from a diverse range of scientific disciplines. I believe insights to solve a problem comes from a diversity of views, not more of the same views. For this reason I include (but not limited to), astronomy, cosmology, biology, physics, systems, complexity and. of course. psychology and neuroscience, ensuring that my presentations are not only informative but also intellectually stimulating. Each of my talks is meticulously structured to include business insight, psychology and/or neuroscience, aspects of a unrelated science field (e.g. astronomy, biology, systems etc.), humour and some moral of the story ('what can we learn from this?').

Toastmasters International

Over the course of the past 5 years, I have been an active and committed member of a Toastmasters club in Pretoria East, where I have honed my public speaking, leadership, networking and communication abilities. Recently, I've joined Pretoria Advanced Toastmasters, also serving on the Executive committee, where I'm learning more advanced skills.

During this period, I have had the opportunity to deliver guest lectures and engage in various podcasts, allowing me to share my expertise and insights with a broader audience.

Streamlining repeatable steps to enhance clarity, consistency, and performance across people, systems, and operations.

 Design with Systems in Mind

Whether it's processes or understanding human behaviour, it's about seeing the bigger picture: understanding how parts interconnect to influence patterns, outcomes, and sustainable change.
